Would a primer help?

I recently started using Sephora Perfection Mist Foundation and I love it! I apply it by spraying it onto my beauty blender and dabbing it on.

I like the lightweight feel that still gives good coverage and shade light perfectly matches me which is great. The only thing is I get small dry patches on my chin and it can get a little flaky. It's not terrible but if there was a way to improve I would love it.

I use a good moisturizer and exfoliate. Would a primer help? I've never used primers and know nothing about them. Thanks in advance!

I had this problem and wht helped is after I exfoliate, I put a tad bit of jojoba oil all over my face and leave it for about 5-10 min then apply my moisturizer and primer and wala no more dry spots.

What primers have you tried? In general do you feel like primers help with this sort of problem? Maybe just not this particular brand of foundation

I think that you should try a moisturizing primer, coz it will hidrate your skin even more, and make your foundation stay on longer!

I don't feel like a primer alone help but like Barbara said a hydrating primer would probably be best. The primer I use however is the hourglass mineral veil primer. But alone it dosent help with my dry spots. Adding the jojoba oil into my routine is what made the biggest difference.

M G the only thing I'm afraid of is my skin tends to be sensitive to products containing oil :/ I'm afraid using jojoba oil would make me break out. Also are there oil free versions of hydrating primers available? Bc again otherwise I feel it would break me out

I understand maybe try spot testn it for a couple of days. as far as an oil free hydrating primer I really don't. I would recommend you speaking with one of our moderators. I know Alma or Jacqueline would definitely be able to help you.
