Whats the verdict? I swear by waxing only because I am aware of what it does but I feel like it only cuts the hair and not grab it by the roots but does it?

Waxing pulls the actual hair out of the follicle thing

I wax only my mom tried threading it doesn't hurt as bad as waxing but I don't think it lasts as long

I prefer waxing because I feel the results are alot more precise. As far as longevity, I feel they both last the same amount of time. Threading can be uncomfortable, but like anything else, once it's over-its over!

threading!! It pulls the hair out of the follicle, same as waxing. Threading is the better choice, especially if you have sensitive skin. I've heard many horror stories of people getting their eyebrows waxed and their skin getting torn off. The only downside of threading is that it's a tad more painful than waxing.

I've done both, but I prefer threading because for me it lasts longer. However, for me, threading is insanely painful in comparison.

threading.. I just went today and let me tell you that I will never go back to waxing or plucking.. this is my fourth time going and I noticed that my hair growth has definetly slowed down and it doesn't grow back thick.

Waxing does pull out the root but not as well as threading. Use threading on ur face like eyebrows and upper lip but u can't do it on ur body really it would we way too painful and take too long!

Britt, threading is when they use a thread to pluck your eyebrows or facial hair. Think of it as tweezing except using a string, thus the precision because they can pluck several hairs at once or individually

Threading can only be used on a flat surface like eyebrows, it's mainly used for people with sensitive skin, allergic to products used in wax and people with low tolerance for pain. Waxing is my choice it's quick and you get results, the horror stories people talk about like there skin getting ripped off this would be either two things- the therapist didn't pull the skin tight enough or the client is on a medication they didn't tell the therapist

It really depends on what you prefer. The trick is to find a technician that really knows what they are doing and takes the time to shape your brows. I have had great results from both methods. Also have had so-so results from both. Be vocal to make sure you don't get cookie cutter brows!

threading is definitely the way to go if you're looking for longevity and a precision in shape. waxing doesn't last as long however, it gives you very clean looking results. the long term effects are detrimental though. so definitely threading
