What is better?? to wax or shave?? is it true tht shaving makes your growth rough n prickly??

Yes, it's true, but only at the beginning and not THAT much. it really depends on how much hair you have to start with. I like waxing and then I shave in between waxes. A wax lasts longer but you need to exfoliate so you don't get ingrown hair.

I personally don't get a lot of hair especially on my legs and can get away during the summer time with shaving only once a week. I prefer shaving because waxing involves a lot of harsh chemicals and it's uneccesary for my personal hair type.

Thnx girls..its just tht til nw I hv been regular waxes done..but at times am stuck with this tiny growth tht won't go come out with wax but would definitely spoil my entire look..so fr such instances I ws thinkin if I could shave.

N Breeze how often do you recommend exfoliating between two waxes?
Sep 2, 2014
Breeze T.
*Please note that I am not a professional*
Well. first of all you need to exfoliate the day before you wax. After waxing, don't exfoliate when you're sore, but twice a week is good depending on your skin type. I do it more often because my leg skin is extremely dry. Also, I noticed that shaving dries up my legs whereas waxing helps them not get as flaky (it also removes the top layer of dead skin cella--yay!). To each their own!

I agree with Bree... waxing is better last longer since its pulling out from the root where as shaving is on at the surface.

WAXING 100%
I've been waxing for 3 years and the grow is thinner and slower now hence less painful
I shave my legs but that's only cuz I swim and don't really show my legs on a day to day basis and after 6 months of shaving the lag hairs are stubborn I might abort to waxing
waxing hurts more but if you use the right wax you will be fine
try get a professional to do it and don't use the strips they don't work as well
