I wouldnt reccomend proactive. it helps to clear up your skin but as soon as you stop using it all the breakouts will come back and may even be worse than before. I reccomend seeing a dermatologist and working tog ether to see what is best for you.

You might wanna see a dermatologist because you look like you have cystic acne which is not eAsy to treat ,you can try something called La Rosh Posay Effaclar it's a salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide system for severe  acne

Yes I agree with Traci. You should see a dermatologist. I am so glad I did. I haven't had any breakouts since I went and started using the treatment they gave me.

I've had acne all my life but I started a new journey last year from using all these different expensive products like Mary Kay, Societe, Proactive, Estée Lauder and Clearasil. Now I only use things out of my kitchen and surprisingly it works, I use pure ivory soap to clense, I use lemon juice for my spots and I use baking soda once a week for microdermabrasion, and for moisture I use Aveeno moisturizer with SPF

You can also use yogurt mixed with dry yeast, tastes terrible but great results.

Yea proactive didnt.help my acne and I had it bad. see a derm. mine prescdibed a pill to take and topical treatments for day and night. for a facial wash I use antibacterial soap. I had alllll kinds of acne happening. I went from random people I passed by reccomending proactive to me, to getting people ask about my skincare routine. HUGE difference. see a derm.

I first tried proactive about 4 years ago, I had amazing results after a month clear glowing skin.. I used their products for about a year and noticed the product quit working as well after a while. Didn't have the same effect as before.
I decided to stop using proactive & my skin broke out pretty bad for a while after I stopped.
I tried the "oil cleansing method" last year and got amazing results from that also.
Goodluck on finding what products work best for you.
