Hi ladies just a question,
After waxing my eye brows or facial hair I get discoloured spots on my face from where the waxing was done. Because of my complexion it is easily noticed. I mean it is not a huge difference but it especially when I put my foundation on because those spots are lighter.

Does this happen to anyone else?? Or does anyone have suggestions??

If your getting hyperpigmentation from waxing either the wax is to hot or not being done right or your to sensitive for your skin if it's temporary use cooling gel after.

I was going to say that the wax could be too hot, Traci said it best. it could also be from going over the same spot twice or more times, that's how it happened to me once.

After waxing I get a bunch of small red spots that are slightly raised. The area also feels really warm, but for me it goes away within a couple hours. My waxer said it's a rare but not unheard of skin reaction to waxing. She's been waxing for 15+ years and said I was only the third client she'd ever seen have it.

Please excuse the no makeup face and the bags lol... But here is an example around my eyebrows is lighter from waxing. It doesn't look as bad in the picture.

I see what your saying ,every time you get waxed it is exfoliating that area it taking a layer of dead skin off as well as hair so if your not exfoliating the rest of your face that could be a reason for the deference in colors

You know what I was actually thinking the same thing so I'm going to try and exfoliate more often. Thanks so much Traci and everyone else?
