I have this from the container store and I don't know why I've never done anything to it and it already has some scratches! They're not bad they're small but I want to know how I would take good care of it to make sure it lasts!

I'm buying the rest of the set (all from container store) so there's more to come! Is there a product to use to Buff out the Scratches? And if I put beads in the smaller compartments (ones like from sephora) will it help or scratch it more?

The container store (which I was at today buying acrylic lipstick holders :) sells a liquid product right by the acrylic items that cleans and removes scratches.

I just clean mine with a rag and windex and I have had mine for two years and they are fine ,I think this topic belongs in storage and organization thou sweety ,

If you are ordering online it usually shows up on the same page as the acrylic products you are purchasing as a suggested add on item.

Thanks guys! And sorry I didn't know they had a storage and organization section! Next time I'll be sure to put it under that! And thank you so much Kelly I'll probably buy it! But do they remove the scratches? Mine aren't deep at all , and how did the product work all in all for you?


And traci does your makeup holder have any scratches? Since you've had them for such a long time I'll have to follow your tips!

So below is a pic from my computer, it's a three step cleanser that removes scratches and restores the surface, it comes with the three two ounce bottles of cleanser and two clothes for 9.99. It works well to remove scratches and a little goes a long way. In case you can't read from the pic it's called Novus Plastic Polish Trio on the container store website.  :)

Haha 😂 I'm a perfectionist even the smallest things make me so mad!! How often do you clean your makeup holder? And also if I put beads (the one sephora uses in their makeup brush section) in the smaller sections shown in the picture to hold up my lip liners and glosses , will it scratch it more , or do you think just putting no beads in will be better?

Mya, I only clean the holders every few weeks if I notice dust or something on them. I don't know about the beads, sorry, I can't help with that question. I only use windex or 409 for normal cleaning, I just use the special cleanser if they are looking dull or scratched.

I put beads in glass vase for my brushes ,are you putting your brushes in the little squares because they might fall out those are the lipstick compartment and they are short but a company call Alegory makes a lipgloss holder that fits brushes perfectly ,but those beads Sephora use are soft so the won't scratch anything hun.
