I need contouring help!

So, I have veeeery light skin (ivory, snow, ghost, translucent, whatever color they call super duper pale) and I have no idea what color I should use to contour! Like, I know where and how to contour, but I feel like every time I do it looks so unnatural or just unnoticeable. I just bought some brown powder for it and it looks so gross on me, even after I blended it in a lot. Could I possibly use a taupe or grey? Also, should I use liquid makeup or stick makeup or powder makeup or whaaaaaa for this? I need help!! (I have added a picture of my face in case you needed to see that)

Yeah, I've also heard the NYX blush in "taupe" is great to use for fair skin tones

I have lighter skin than you and I would totally recommend more ashy tones because it will look more like a shadow. I would try nyx blush in taupe.

I've been using a purple grey color lately and it seems to look more natural than the bronze on my also ridiculously pale skin lol.
