Necklace Display Help!!

I need help coming up with a good necklace display to show all my necklaces and keep them from tangling and I was originally just going to take tacks and put them on my wall like that but I want it to be prettier... I have big heavy necklaces if that helps.

I'm making one with a cute piece of wood (from craft warehouse that's precut) and then I'm painting it with chalkboard paint and destressing it and putting the crystal looking drawer knobs on it. than on my wall it will go. :) everything was about $20. it's not made yet though. Lol.
