Waterproof mascara should be your best bet. :)

I like the Maybelline Mega Plush as it has great staying power and barely smears. You could also try a waterproof mascara.

I have oily skin and it never interferes with my mascara.. Maybe you're putting on too much or not letting it dry for long enough. Maybe a waterproof mascara would work but it probably wouldn't make a difference because oil isn't water lol.

Maybelline illegal length mascara :) it makes your lashes look longer because it has these little fibre things in it and it is super waterproof I've had a shower with it on and it lasted through and it looked the exact same plus I've gone swimming with it on and have also cried for like an hour and it didn't budge I have oily skin and it's very long lasting

But it has to be the waterproof formula.

Applying a bit of powder on your lashes with an eye shadow before putting on mascara should help.

Here is a tip For short lashes; curl your lashes, apply a little bit of WATERPROOF mascara to your lashes then take your non water proof mascara and take the wand and wipe off the spoily on a tissue (I know wasting product but trust me.. I do it on my $38 mascara too) coat the side of your lashes facing your eyelid and the other side too and you can also leave the tips of your lashes with no mascara to help with not transferring to your skin but make sure you coat both sides of your lashes to give them full potential (business cards help keep it clean) this also makes your lashes clump free sorry about the awkward pic its hard to show my lashes but I do those steps on my own lashes and I learned this trick from Wayne Goss.

I don't think mascara would interfere with your skin type. But you might want to try a waterproof mascara maybe? Or let your mascara dry fully.

My lids tend to be oily, I completely understand where you're coming from, there are a few things you can try: 1) make sure to set any under eye concealer/foundation with powder to minimize the oil and help prevent mascara meltdown or 2) try a tubing mascara. L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes mascara is the available at the drug store for less than $10. I love this mascara, if you use both steps you can get great length, but you can also layer just the second step over your favorite lengthening mascara and it will keep it from transferring on to your lids.
