I know that. My Tip: After showering you spray a moisture-giving Hairspray in the hair. Product tip: Revlon Professional Equave Hairspray.

Use yoghurt and honey mask. Mark Hill's miracoilicious range is amazing too!
use olive oil and coconut oil twice a week
make a mask with equal parts honey and yoghurt or honey and any deep conditioner..add a little olive oil..apply on damp or dry hair for half hour..use at least once a week..results are amazing and instant!

Hair masks, and every time you condition your hair in the shower, when you get out put a sealant oil like coconut or argon oil to seal in moisture. Oils are good as a mask too, olive, coconut, castor, argon, etc. almost any natural cold pressed nothing added oils will work. I usually put an oil all through my hair an hour or two before I want to shower (or the night before if I'm showering in the morning) and then wash out. I do this once a week. Also, don't over hydrate your hair. Stick to once a week no more as to much moisture with no protein balance can actually dry out hair. Try not to wash hair everyday as that can make your roots greasier but your ends drier. Try using dry shampoo and wash your hair as little as possible to help your natural oils reach the ends of your hair. Don't shampoo below your ear unless you've used tons of product in your hair (the shampoo will cleanse the rest of your hair as it's being rinsed without over scrubbing it), and don't condition the roots to prevent buildup of product and greasy hair quicker.
Don't use products with alcohol in them, so check hairsprays, heat protectants and any hold products you use like mousse or gel. If alcohol is in the first 3 ingredients it's bad for your hair. Try not to use as much products, you'll have to wash your hair less in the shower which will help overall health of the hair.
And Julia G, I hope you mean a leave in conditioner spray because hairspray has lots of alcohol in it (you seldom find one without it) and it'll dry out hair, especially on freshly washed wet hair. Putting a leave in conditioner spray can help hydrate hair too. I'd recommend just using it on dry hair, and spritzing the ends when you feel they need it and not the rest of the hair so you don't get oily.
