I really miss my natural hair color but I dyed my hair a few years ago and now it's faded to a brassy color. the only way I can think to get my hair color back is to shave my head. but my hair is almost to my butt and I would be so sad if I shaved it. so can you remove old permanent hair dye?

Color oops , but you have to do it 2/3 times if it been years that the dye is in your hair.

You can get a color corrector, Sallys sells one.

I've tried to dye over it but my hair is porous so dye doesn't hold anymore. I'll check out some color strippers. thanks guys.

Dye stripper two or three times would probably be the best way.

There is a hair color remover called before hair color remover try that! It smell terrible but works.
