It depends on your skin type and sensitivity! I definitely prefer gentle daily exfoliation over once a week harsh abrasive scrubs for my dry skin and underdeveloped acne. I'm not sure your situation though.

Trying out different face products, especially exfoliaters, can often cause someone to break out. That does not mean it's bad for you, your skin is just getting used to it.

I use it every other day, and a gentle face wash on the days I don't use the St Ives scrub :)
