The ends seem slightly lighter than the rest of the head (one shade or so), so I'd go with what Alexis is saying and if you have confident in your hair colouring skills I'd use a low concentration of bleach on the ends to make it lighter and give it a sunkissed kind of look like Shailene (is that the way you spell it) has.
Or you could dye your hair and then ask the hair dresser to lighten the ends
