I'm not sure. There are chemicals in both of those products. With relaxed hair you already have a lot of chemicals. There's a possibility that it wouldn't come out well. But I'm not really sure. Hopefully someone with more experience than me can also comment.

I don't think it will. just make you keep your hair properly conditioned and moisturized.

I think manic panic is semi so it'll be Okay but the loreal have some type of bleaching agent in the dye because it's lifting you hair color to a lighter color. when was the last time you relaxed your hair?

For relaxers and dyes you should always wait at LEAST two weeks in between the two applications. It doesn't matter if the dye is super safe because its a chemical your putting and letting sit into your hair. If you wait the two weeks you should be fine, no matter which process you do first. like Lakeisha said, keep your hair properly conditioned and moisturized.

Manic panic is peroxide and bleach free, it does not lift color it only deposits color. I think it would be fine to do both. I used to use manic panic all the time and I would sleep with it on overnight sometimes with no damage done to my hair.

Hi Rebekah! I just did a video guide to coloring with veggie based dyes, I think Special Effects and Manic Panic are similar. I leave my SFX in overnight, it's like a deep conditioning mask that also deposits color! It's really shiny, I've never had bleach highlights look healthier- they're red of course, but soft and shiny!😁 Good luck!! http://youtu.be/jbclkAU4_C8.
