Hi guys, so basically, the title does the talking. I am planning on creating my own makeup room and I was wondering if you all have any suggestions on storage, new makeup to purchase that is a must have, and decorations. This would help me a lot!

I have a vanity set up for my makeup. I would suggest muji drawers. They are affordable and you can stack them. There is also the original beauty box, but they are a bit expensive. The container store has great storages and lipstick holders too. You can go to michaels or any craft store to buy a glass jar to store your makeup brushes in or build/diy a makeup brush holder instead. I included a few pics of my setup from my instagram for ideas.

Val your set up is AMAZING!! If you're on a budget I like to repurpose. I'm using an old dresser with a pretty tapestry on the top. The drawers are good for makeup storage and the top has a pretty hallway mirror, baby food jars for brushes, ceramic jars for liners and bigger brushes, a mustard tin for lipliners, and one acrylic dish for my everyday things. Its a great set up, but its not a desk/vanity. Which is annoying. For in my drawers and my bathroom I use those dollar store plastic bins. I hold my palettes in this cute shelf I got at Goodwill. I also use letter holders from Marshall's for my hand held makeup mirror and flowercrowns. The acrylic dish and letter stuff I go from Marshall's. SO, its a lot of recycled and repurposed things for me! <3.
