Are Beauty Blender Sponges worth the hype?

I want to buy them in both shapes and I've heard great things but I want some input first! Do they absorb makeup like other sponges? Are they easy to clean? Help!

Yes worth it! I clean mine with anti bacterial soap and it cleans really easily I clean mine everyday. I switched to drugstore foundation because I did notice it absorbs make up more

I can make a contribution in that department Maria 🙋 I own both and my dollar store one ripped within a month Idk if it's because I wash it everyday but the real one definitely is more durable

Yes!! I just recently bought the beauty blender after using various dupes including the real techniques sponge which I love. But the beauty blender is 🙌! Not all sponges are created the same. The beauty blender is so much softer and feels light weight but helps blend so well!! I really love it so I went and bought the pro black sponges. They are honestly totally worth it. They might all look alike but it's not until you use it that you really notice the difference!!
