So last night I came home to my very first BirchBox.. I was super excited! I wasn't too happy with the products in the box but was still excited lol.. so tell me lovelys what did you all think about this months birch box?

Have you tried ipsy? I like ipsy better 😊 birch box is mostly sample sizes and lotion and stuff lol.

Nerissa Birchbox & Ipsy are beauty box subscription services. Each one is $10 a month and they select around 5 sample, deluxe sample or sometimes full size products to send you.
Elizabeth I'm sorry you didn't care for your Birchbox this month. I personally really loved mine! I got the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish kit, Davine hair oil, shampoo and conditioner (Davine is a well known Italian brand), a full size Shea Butter lippie, Dr. Jart black label detox bb cream and a moisturizing skin cream from Japan called Yu Be. Hang in there, hope your next box is a better fit for you!

I personally decided to go with ipsy rather than birchbox after reading people's blogs and looking at what people were getting from both services. It seems like birchbox has nicer brands, but their samples are usually pathetically tiny. I was also less interested in the products in general- it seemed like mostly lotions and hair stuff and the occasional weird thing like a hair tie or a granola bar. Ipsy uses a lot of indie and drugstore brands, but you get a lot more actual makeup products and bigger samples- in my last glam bag, THREE of the five products were full size! One was a full size nail polish with a full size top coat, and I still got four other products (two of which were also full size). My first bag had two full size products out of the five. You also get a cute tote bag each month, which I've found useful because I've been traveling a lot lately. There are a lot of people who prefer birchbox and they definitely have good reasons, but ipsy suits my preferences more.

Traci my favorite thing was a super hydrating chapstick. I am deff grateful and I look forward to trying the products.. I just expected a few things that other boxes I've seen bring. But no biggie I look forward to my next box! Ella... I love the concept of the monthly bag.! Every month is christmas lol
