She came in with unevenly colored hair that was too brassy on top and way too ashy on the ends. Her ends were literally gray. I weaved her heavily and filled her ashy ends with redken 8c gloss to add warmth. Then I toned everything with 9n, 8gg & 6gb to give her color healthy warmth and dimension.

Her hair looks really healthy! I love seeing this kind of posts! What do you mean with "weaved her heavily"? Did you give her a weave? Sorry I'm a bit ignorant :)

@breeze I did a full head of really thin, closely placed highlights. I did them that way to avoid "streaky" looks and to blend and lighten the color

I have a question. My hair is really gummy due to dying my hair red (bleaching also). I wanna go back to black so that it looks healthier. How long should I wait to dye it to black? What dye should I use? I am currently deep conditioning my hair once a week, I use organic coconut oil (leave in at night) in my hair about twice a week, and I use horse shampoo.. I just really want the gummy hair to go away and go back to black hair :(

Dying your hair black isn't going to damage it at all, it will help it feel better. Unfortunately love, you can't repair the ends completely. Once hair is damaged to that extent, it just needs to be cut off. I'm sorry, it won't go away. Also be careful of using products with keratin because too much protein will actually make it worse

I always reccommend seeing a professional for color services to avoid damage like that. ESPECIALLY bleaching services. We have access to high end, quality products that are much safer to use, not to mention the knowledge and education to use them in ways that will not ruin the integrity of the hair.
