If you go to college, you can do a course in Fashion merchandising. You can do tons of fashion courses at college, if you go onto a local college website and look at courses, theyll probably be loads, there is at the college I'm at. You can do loads at uni too, if you search on the internet you'll definitely find some:)

I'd also like to add that when selecting a course, look for unis/ colleges that have good links with the industry, the percentage of graduates that are employed, good support, placements, etc...
Fashion is so competitive you want to get a good start. Look into internships as well. It's all about building contacts even if that may mean doing some unpaid work for a bit.

I agree with Becky. I'd generally try a specialist fashion college/uni as you'll get better placements and the tutors are more specialist.
Getting experience is KEY. Volunteering and placements are great, and they'll massively help you. It'll also give you an idea of what type of job you want to go in. I'm assuming your 14/15, I'd start looking into colleges now, as it gives you a headstart on when you start applying.

Also the Student Room forum is always a really good resource to find out about routes into different careers, especially in the UK. It was really valuable for me when I was applying for uni. Granted I work in a completely different field but that doesn't matter :P
