Is this hair style considered ombré?

Hello! I'm interested in colouring my dark brown hair slightly lighter so that it looks like the pictures below ( most like The first two then the others ). As you can see all of their hair gets lighter gradually and they all have visible dark brown roots. Is this style considered a natural ombré , or does it have another name? Also, how easy is this style to maintain? What happens when your roots grow out longer , like past your ears , do you go back to the salon and bleach the roots back to the original "start" of the ombré? Thank you very much for answering my question :)

They all look ombre or very similar to me, and I'm not sure how you would maintain the roots when they grow out :/ I think what you said sounds about right though going back to the salon and having them bleached back to the start (:

In my opinion it looks more like balayage. I could be wrong since I really have no experience with it, but I wouldn't call those hairstyles ombre.
