Alo!

So last time I got my hair done I asked for highlights not at my roots but lower down so its light brown at the top (like balayage can't spell) however she put the highlights in my roots my hair has grown and I have darker roots to what I wanted... Is the only way to achieve the look I want is to grow my hair or can I get anything done?
