I have a little experience in SEO and social media marketing...what I believe is that you should post regularly and good content..
second, make sure your content is of value to all users..don't just focus on high end products or smethng that not many people have access to..
third, if you are reviewing products its a good idea to tell people how they can find a product online and at stores near them..
next, make a presence at social media network giants like facebook, Twitter n instagram..make posts on these networks regularly..and post questions to engage your followers..ask them what they would like to see and cater to them..
keep the blog simple and easy to use with proper categories and a search bar..sign up at bloglovin too to allow people to browse through new posts easily..

Add pictures n videos to make the blog more fun..do not write very detailed posts..people usually read many blog posts if they are looking for something particular..so if your post is too long they will ignore it..write in bullets and include sub headings to make it interesting...you can also use infographics..provide all relevant details without making the post too long..
also if you are advertising on yr blog, don't allow it to spam readers..use affiliate marketing instead...large ad banners and pop ups are irritating...affiliate marketing is a good way to earn money by providing genuine reviews

You should also post about sales..like if there is a sale at boots or ulta or sephora, let your reader know the details through posts..this way people will visit your blog regularly to be the first to know about the latest sales! it will maintain a steady flow of traffic to your blog :-)
