Hello :) I saw these brushes on groupon and I would like to know if anyone has any thoughts on them as I know next to nothing about brushes. Thanks a bunch 😁

Groupon connects with websites for deals, so you should be able to go to the original website of the brushes and check out reviews and Google the name for more honest reviews. :)
I've ordered a bunch of things from Groupon though, they're usually quite good for the price.

Oh and I have the last set, the pink ones. I got it from light in the box. They're decent, worth the 30$ I paid but I wouldn't pay anything more than 50$ for them. Theyre decent and soft, but the variety of brushes could be better. Like there's only one angled brush, but plenty of Shadow brushes. I constantly use my other brushes because of what this set lacks.

So if I want to up my eyeshadow and bronzing game, what are the "staple brushes" that I need?

I bought a discount set to try them out. It is not the same set you have here. I use them as "junk brushes" basically. I use them to put makeup on other people or as a travel set. In my set they were just too soft and I do not suggest them. However, it's not always horrible to have an affordable set to play with too. But it's a quality quantity issue.

And actually those are a tad more expensive than my set. But honestly it's up to you. I don't talk down discount brushes if you want a group of brushes to try. But if your a dead set quality person it may not be your cup of tea.

I have the same exact set in the first picture. Like everyone else said, they aren't great but they get the job done. However, $30 is NOT a good price for them!! I got my set for $17 on ebay. I'm sure you can find these sets all over the place since, like Jacqueline said, they are mass produced and sold all over the place. So if you're looking for a lower quality affordable set I would shop around and find the set for under $20.

This set was a huge waste of money for me. I like how they say the original price is so high because that way they can give you the illusion that getting them for 30 is a deal. It's not. That's also not the original price, it's set like that because they know no one will buy them. They intend to sell them for 30 the whole time, but now you're under the illusion it's a steal. These are the crappiest brushes I have EVER bought.
