Witch Hazel Toner Smells Weird, How Do I Make It Better?

So I bought some witch hazel toner but it smells weird. I'm positive it's the natural witch hazel and I was wondering if there was anyway to make it smell better without ruining its effectiveness.
Suggestions?

You can add lavender or tea tree oil, but it can affect its performance on your skin.

Well I know tea tree oil is supposed to help with oily/combo skin so I think that could help/improve.
