Hey beauties! So I'm starting to run out of my Tarte bb cream which I absolutely love - especially for summer! But winter is fast approaching and I have combo/oily sensitive acne prone skin and wanted to know what your suggestions are for bb/cc creams for me to try as winter comes up - also has anyone tried the new coverFX bb gel? I always love their products but haven't tried it - so please feel free to give me some suggestions for bb/cc creams preferably with a matte finish - thanks all!

I've never tried a high end bb cream but I hear great things about diors one and estee lauders :-) if I'm using a bb cream I use garniers for oily combo skin and I love it great coverage and has a matte finish :-)

Yeah I use the garnier oil free sometimes too but it pales in comparison to my tarte bb and was just seeing if anyone has suggestions for non-drugstore brands since most do break me out aside from the garnier oil-free.

I have very sensitive/acne prone skin and I use too faced beauty balm. It has decent coverage and retinol in it. It's my favorite so far.

I've tried too faced and it's ok - I still like my tarte better in terms of matte finish - too faced was more Dewey for me.

I've tried the cover fx bb cream and it's really good. it has a little bit of salicylic acid so it helps with oiliness but doesn't over dry you. I would get a shade darker than what you would normally be though because it looks dark in the tube but once you put it on it goes on lighter

The only high end Bb creams I have tried have been Dr. Jart black label detox bb, Coola matte tint natural bb, UD Naked skin bb and Hydroxatone anti-aging bb. I didn't care for the Coola or Dr. Jart because neither matched up well with my skin tone very well and they didn't stay matte very long on me. The UD one felt really nice on my skin but had an odd minty smell and did not offer much coverage at all even when I tried to apply multiple layers. The Hydroxatone one was my favorite so far, it had the perfect amount of coverage and lasted nicely throughout the day on my oily t-zone. I still haven't found a high end bb that has wowed me just yet sadly. Good luck on your search!
