Just had most of hair cut off! Help!

I wanted to have a new style put in my hair, the hairdresser got a bit scissor happy and has taken it above my shoulders ( I can just get it in a pony tail) so now all the ends are healthy, what is the best way to promote hair growth and try and get the length back ASAP! Please help!
