In Bolivia the main makeup brand is essence. Every store has essence products. I had seen them back in the states, but never tried them. What are your opinions on essence makeup? On essence polish?

Essence is a good brand, but it's worth Googling the products before you buy them. They have some amazing products, and I do like their nailpolishes. Just make sure you check out some reviews online before going to the store :)

The nail polish I own by essence is okay for the price. After a while it kinda separates into different contents, which doesn't happen with more expensive polish, but I think they're good considering that it's really cheap.
I also like the makeup I tried by essence - I actually prefer their concealer over any other concealer I've tried so far. I like their eyebrow kit and my friend swears by their powder.
It's definitely something you could try, because it's affordable so even if you don't end up liking a product you didn't spend too much on it.

Ooh my god, Essence is a really good brand for its price! It's a German brand, so it's good quality and really cheap. I have a lot of Essence products, my faves are Stay Natural concealer (best concealer ever haha), clear lash&brow gel (keeps eyebrows in place all day), lipgloss (stays on for really long), quattro eyeshadow, kajals (they stay on your waterline the longest of all eyeliners I tried), and tinted lip balms are really moisturizing and have cute colors. Altough their nail polishes chip very quickly lol. So overall its a great brand for such a small price :)

Also sometimes they have flyers of some sort standing next to their products where they show looks that can be done with the products. These are free so sometimes those can be fun to take with you too.

I love the lippy nearly nude and the bronzer for blondes is nice! Cheap and cheerful :) @Sabrina don't you think barely there is very close to that Kylie Jenner lippie? I'm not a great fan of her, but I do like her lipstick!

I love Essence! Most of what I tried by them I loved, but I have too many of their things to recommend anything in particular. OK... there's one that comes to mind and it's the waterproof get big lashes in the blue chubby packaging. I actually went for a swim and it was PERFECT afterwards! I also love the lipsticks and their blush brush! it's very soft! I'll think of other products for you!

Its a good brand for the price..
I have mostly gloss and eye shadows.
the clear case lipsticks have horrible reviews and from swatching testers n store and I can see why. the blk cased ones Sabrina posted definitely seen better and have better reviews..
the blush swatches nicely. it has a nice softness to it b close color has a nice finish without being pearly..
anyhow, I give the brand an overall thumbs up for the price point.
