You should get the tattoo first, and then the dermals. That's what my aunt did! I LOOOVE chest piercings haha! I'm no help as I've never had them but I do love them.

I agree with doing the tat then the piercings in that order if you're doing both eventually. I had a room mate who had them and I've always thought they look so badass! She had no issues with them that I knew of, but I met her long after the healing period was over. =)

Did you want dermals or a bar? I had a bar and it didn't hurt at all and I loved it but after a while my body rejected it (which happens often) and I had to take it out but I don't know much about dermals but I agree you should get the tattoo firat.

It dose hurt. I also suggest you get your tattoo first. Dremals can't just get removed you have to go and get em remove witch will proply cost more so yes I agree get the tat first :)

Dermals are better than bars btw, for piercings like that. Surface piercings are way more likely to reject.

I used to have dermals on my collarbones and they're a lot of work. One of mine got pulled out when I was taking off my sweater. It got caught. They're such cool piercings but they're just tons of work. You have to be ridiculously careful with everything.
It was annoying lol. So if you do get them, just be prepared lol
In my opinion they're worth the work though. I'll probably get then again.

DO NOT GET SURFACE COLLARBONE PIERCINGS get dermals as I had them and they rejected, same happened to my friend and now we both have horrendous scars.

I've always heard that surface piercings and dermals are considered temporary piercings, because within a few years they will reject, almost 100% of the time. They can leave scars, which can interfere with a tattoo, so definitely consider how important the tattoo is to you.
