It could be melasma perhaps. Are you using an SPF? Are you exposed to the sun a lot?

Lol, thanks ladies 😃 my day cream is a 15 spf, I don't spend too much time in the sun, not more than usual! I have been on the same pill for six months now, so can't be that, and I'm not preggers 😃

The causes for melasma are unknown they just give you very vague reasons why you might be experiencing the pigmentation. Like hormones lol let's blame everything on hormones oh and the sun hahaha. Have you noticed any other changes in your skin? Are the spots just dark or a bit red?

I have heard great things about bio oil and I don't think it could hurt to give it a try. The melasma may be from your birth control pills if you've only been on them for six months.

I use a vitamin c cream at night on some dark acne scarring I have on my face and I've noticed then lightening up tremendously. Maybe you could give that a shot?

I have been on the pill for 17 years and Just developed melasma on my forehead this summer I've been using a lightening cream just on my forhead it's slowly starting to fade now
