I believe harlyn said one time that you could cut a tea bag & put it on the nail & use clear polish to keep it in place so it's kind of like a nail bandaid if that makes sense.

Haha you could try using a thimble (Which is used for sewing. But it would protect the nail from something like this I think.

Wow I thought I was the only one who this happens too!! anyways yea, just put a bandaid over it, change it often and if you aren't using your hands like when you chilling watching TV, take the bandaid off to let it hear by air, if it's constantly in a bandaid it'll get moist and that's bad because bacteria will grow! I hope your OK love that s*** hurtsss!!

Buff the nail polish off, you still have some Jojoba oil? It's great for nails.

Put an antiseptic in it quickly. seriously nail infections can be bad. don't wear too much coloured nail polish, if none at all. after its had time to heal you can paint clear onto it to hold it together until it grows out. I hope you are okay, that looks like it hurts.:-(

Mine split from side to side, I had on acrylics and dropped my horses feed bucket on it and yeah, but yesss super glue.

Aw girl I know how much this sucks. I always have to do things carefully since I've grown my nails and I've had to cut two of them cause of these situations lol :( I'd just do what liz did and put a bandaid on so I wouldn't have to look at it hahah.

Ouch how bad did that hurt?!? I got tingles all over just thinking about how painful that would be... anyways I'd just clip or gently file the nail down and make sure it's cleaned and moisturized, neosporin is great which is what you've been doing right? :)

I use the tea bag band aid trick when I do this, I havent split mine that far down but pretty close and it sort of stuck the two bits together, also I used a nail growth serum on that nail so the split grew out quicker, but since you can't take the nail polish off yet maybe wait unti you can take it offf and then put some growth stuff on it. I can't remeber how I did the tea bag thing but its on google and youtube :)
