-what are some treatments you recommend to straighten my hair? could be done in a salon or at home.
-approximately what is the price?
-about how long does it last?
-how damaging is it?
I'll attach a picture of my natural hair, if that helps at all.

I've gotten my hair "relaxed" before at a hair salon and it made it more tangable but not completely pin straight.
The only thing I don't like about doing that is that it irritated my skin

I don't have any suggestions so I'm just going to tell you this. Gurrlll!! Your hair is so pretty and perfect and I'm so jealous!! And I am going to say that the chemical treatments to straighten your hair are extremely damaging and strip the hair of its natural gorgeousness. But I just wanted to tell you your hair is Sooo flipping gorgeous I wish mine was curly like that!!

I will tell you this..
Doing chemical treatments to straighten my hair was the worst decision made, and I wasn't even able to make that decision. At 8 years old I was having my hair relaxed and messed with, and I don't recommend any of these treatments but I will tell you about them...
Relaxers...
Relaxers are very commonly used to straighten hair and are available both in store and salon.
A relaxer will make your hair straighter but it will make your hair so much weaker. Hair falls out in handfuls, and relaxers can really burn the scalp.
The result after the first use is pretty and straight, but it really does not last too long. I personally don't recommend this to anyone, hair damage is extensive and you will more than likely spend more time trying to upkeep relaxed hair especially with the damage than keeping it natural as now you have to dish out money to relax it, and money to maintain it. Hair is still prone to frizz with this treatment and does not cut down on time straightening it like the Keratin does. Products used to maintain relaxed hair are usually more expensive.
Keratin..
If you had to choose between the two, I would recommend the Keratin.
When I got my keratin done, there was no gentler version out... Now there is keratin with chocolate, avocado , all sorts of mixes. I got the legit keratin where the stylist was only allowed to do 3 a day because of the harmful chemicals.
The Keratin will kill your ends, so be prepared for a trim and maybe not a small one.
Keratin works well against frizz and leaves your hair straighter, but be prepared to not have any curls anymore. The Keratin will make straightening hair easier, however I did suffer from migraines everytime I got my keratin done.
With both of these treatmenta, you essentially 'kill' your curls basically, but you still need to physically straighten your hair. I still spent as much time doing my hair with the chemical straighteners in it as I do now without them.. I don't have to hassle as much buying products to maintain the chemically straightened hair.
I personally feel like having chemically straightened hair is more upkeep than my natural curls... I wash my hair every morning with conditioner only, add a curl cream and a bit of serum, and I'm done. With these straighteners I always had to do treatments, do a dominican tubi every night before bed, straighten the roots in the morning, use treatments that made my scalp itchy, and spend at least an hour straightening my hair.

Brazilian blow out. I think it lasts for about three months and about 200$.. Not to sure different salons offer different prices.

Honey!! That hair is for. The. GAWDS! I highly discourage "permanent" straightening solutions as they are incredibly damaging.
