No matter what I do, no matter what product I try, my face looks caked on!! In my home, in public, in school! I have tried almost everything. Is there any way I can not looked caked on? I just want my skin to look healthy and natural, not caked and greasy.
Any Tips?? Thank you!!

Make sure you're exfoliating properly and often.

Well there's many things that contribute to the cake face.

- too much product

- wrong foundation for your skin type

- not blending well enough

- not using the right applicator

- not letting each product set in completely before layering

- unprepared skin
always moisturize and exfoliate. I also recommend primer, it really helps my makeup application a lottttt.

Your powder might be to heavy for foundation or just make sure you have the right colour that matches your skin.

I'm using Revlon Colorstay Foundation, I use a foundation brush, and my skin type is Sensitive/Combination. I Exfoliate 2-3times a week, and I also use Revlon photoready primer.

And thank you to everyone who replied! I will try using a sponge instead, I never really thought about it considering a lot of people use brushes

I thought I bought Combo/Oily but I guess I bought Normal/Dry. I'm definitely switching, and double checking this time! And is the primer ok for my skin type?

Revlon colorstay made me look cakey no matter how I applied it.

@Lauren, You too? I've heard such good reviews on it, not to mention one of the iconic Youtubers uses it as her go to foundation (in the pic) I thought it was going to work. But it just doesn't go on well! And @Alexis thank you so much for helping me! Thank you everyone!! :)

By the way I know she didn't use the Colorstay Foundation in that picture, I was just referring to who the YouTuber was :)
