Let me know if you are, what do you do.
Also, if you want to become one, where do you see yourself?

I am a makeup artist but I'm not doing much work now sadly. Freelance in my area doesn't seem like its panning out for any type of artist lately. So eventually I imagine I will relocate. In the meantime I'm trying to get a job at my local Sephora. And way, way down the road I really want to start my own brand of makeup :) I also need to get an actual certification. I have one from a special effects program but its not specifically for beauty makeup like I would like to have.

I use to be a counter manager for Elizabeth Arden & Fashion Fair but I was into makeup before then. I do family & friends makeup. That has helped me get referrals. I plan on getting a degree in esthetics. Eventually I want to work in a spa or retail store and freelance

I really want to be one. I'm getting my bachelors in business and doing cosmetology school at the same time. I plan to further my makeup skills by taking additional classes just based on makeup. I want to work with fashion and in an upscale salon, possibly have my own and manage my business :)

I'm just about to finish a program at a mud affiliated school and am debating going back for esthetics and airbrush makeup. I'd really like to start out sephora and see where I go from there.

I am freelancing but don't do much work and am trying to get part time work at sephora as a health information management student. I am just going to keep freelancing when I get a job in the medical field.

I'm a Beauty Advisor at Bloomingdales for Lancôme. I have my BA in Marketing and working on my MBA in Marketing. I started in a drugstore beauty department at 17 and have been interested ever since. I don't do much freelance because of time but if I do get smaller gigs I take them (baby showers, bridal showers, sweet 16)

I want to be. I'm taking a 14 week course at my local adult school for certification and while I attend college I want to freelance and possibly work for a company of artists or at a makeup counter, sephora, or Mac. This will be a side career for me after college if I get a job as a graphic designer or whatever I end up being :)

I want to be one. I've been learning new techniques (from books and video) and doing family and friends makeup. I think I'll take a course once I move to San Fran.

I am working on becoming one too! I practice a lot! I have took a certified course, i learned a few tips and tricks but not as much as I would of liked to. I found a modeling agency in my area that does a certified makeup course that you actually get to get experience in the industry and professional photos to start out a portfolio. I am starting that course in January! And my cousin wants me to do the makeup for her wedding next summer! I am planning to try and start doing some freelance after the course next year!!
