I'm looking for a great Foundation/Concealer/Corrector Palette(s) for my kit. I hear a lot about Graftobian and Bobbi Brown, But wanted to know which is best in quality and texture? Really not concerned with price. But, what's your favorite for your kit?
I see that you are a fellow Black girl (we rock!). I would suggest Makeup Forever's camo palette. One of the colors is orange which corrects hyper pigmentation in darker skin. YouTube it...looks like it works great!
My favorite and go-to's are RCMA foundation and Dermacolor concealer palette. The RCMA are creamy, hold up well (and don't change color) under the hot lights, heat and humidity and come is a large range of shades. Plus, it works well with people who have sensitive skin because the foundation only has about five or six ingredients in it. The Dermacolor concealer has great coverage and again a wide range of colors. I have a few corrector palettes that I bought when I first started out but have never needed to use them... I don't use Graftobian so I can't really comment on them. I have used the BB foundations in the past - they are nice I just prefer the RCMA over all.
I have been using the Graftobian Warm foundation/concealer palette and love the finish! I'm so in love with cream makeup that I will not use anything else on my brides.
Sorry it has taken me FOREVER to respond with work/etc. , but I want to say thank you soo much for the feedback! This was really helpful, really!!!!
I have been hearing so much good things about the Graftobian warm palette a lot! It seems like a great value and would last a long time. The Dermacolor palette is another I happened to look at as well. I've been thinking so much I think Im over thinking now on what to pick, lol. How good/great is the BBU Palette???
I use Cinema Secrets foundation and concealer palettes in my kit! They are creamy and pigmented... I love them! You can get them at CameraReadyCosmetic.com
So how are you all feeling about the Cover FX cream foundations??? Sampled it and also used it on a client and I loved it! How is it on normal to oily skin types?
I use the BBU palette - I like it a lot for the correctors and concealers which are amazing, the foundations lean slightly more on the yellow toned side though.
