Does it work?

Hair stripping totally works! It does not work very well, for unnatural colors though. If you have any other color dye, it should work. Following the directions exactly is also important. Its goal is to shrink the dye's color molecules in your hair, so you are left with whatever your base color is. It usually turns out a strange gingery color, but as long as you're dying over it, it doesn't matter. I attached a picture of the weird color I ended up with last time I used Color Oops on dark red hair (it was a lot lighter than the photo, the lighting is just really weird). Just attached it to let you know what to expect

Does it turn ginger with any colour?!

I think it turns a strange color with any dye color... It is definitely not going to turn out very pretty, it just removes your most recent dye color so you can re-dye it. I've also heard people who have used it have had it turn out really splotchy and uneven, so I have always kept an extra box on hand. I'm not sure what doing it more than once could do, it may or may not make it lighter or less gingery, but I just did one rinse of Color Oops there because it was as light as I needed it to be at that time.
