You're smart to start early because once you have stretch marks, there's not really any lotion or cream that will actually make them go away. There's been some efforts to remove them with lazer treatments but it looks like the results vary. I really like using Argan oil, coconut oil, and vitamin E as moisturizers. Sometimes I use them alone or mix them with different lotions. I've been using a lot of Burt's Bees and the Say Yes to Tomatoes line lately and have been feeling nice and soft!

Stri Vectin has a lot of buzz around it... but only for new stretch marks or preventative measures. Once the stretch mark turns lighter than you're skin tone there's not much you can do unfortunately!
Fun fact about Stri Vectin... when it was first made and sent out to people to be tested, the people came back saying how much it had helped their wrinkles and the texture of their skin. They thought it was for their face! So it's pretty cool that its a two in one product!

I've actually been using Stri Vectin for the past couple of weeks and because my stretch marks are from weight gain (I lost about 60 lbs), I fear that my stretch marks are permanent. I am using it for my forehead as I am now 26 and starting to show some wear on my face and I can already see it making a difference. I think the product is great if you're willing to take a shot at it.

You should try Mamma Mio Tummy rub butter and baby oil! That's what I'm currently using to prevent stretch marks during my pregnancy! I'm 35 weeks pregnant and have no stretch marks.

Bio Oil seems like a hot favorite. I have a bottle but I don't use it regularly. I've heard good reviews though. Give that a try?

Bio Oil and Stri Vectin...next on my shopping list :)

I wish there was something to get rid of old stretch marks... I started taking pills when i was eight and gained thirty pounds in a month... So obviously I got stretch marks. They're too old to get rid of now, unless i get the laser treatment which I definitely cannot afford. It's really great that you are starting early! I really hope the best for you! But I must say, once you have a baby... There's no way to prevent them. They are going to happen. But if you use all of this stuff everyone is talking about every day, well, it should help. :P My dermatologist says that everyone should use some kind of lotion to keep the skin on their hips, thighs, arms, breasts and stomach soft and strong. It would only make sense to use something that aids in preventing stretch marks also! :)

Stretch Mark Oil by This Works is nice. Also the Evening Primrose and Rosehip Regenerating Oil by Aurora Spa Rituals too. =]
