Hi all, just wondering what peoples views are on SPF in moisturiser - do you always choose one with SPF, and if so what factor do you look for x

I definitely wear one with a lot of spf if Im going to have a significant amount of sun exposure.. but otherwise Im not too concerned bc my foundation has 25 spf. My moisturizer just so happens to have it too tho, but i prefer to look into the type of moisturizer before i worry about the spf, bc you can always add that and sometimes it makes a white cast over my face!

I like to make sure that the moisturizer I use in the AM has SPF! This is mostly because I don't like wearing a separate sunscreen, so having SPF in my moisturizer (and also my foundation) helps to give me some sun protection :) Both my moisturizer and foundation have SPF 15, which is enough protection for my skin on an average day when I'm inside 99% of the time, and both look very natural and don't make me look like I have sunblock on!

I think SPF15 is prob enough for most days. I hate wearing layers of moisturiser, sunscreen etc, although I'm going to Morroco on Saturday so I'll have to seriously layer up I think :-)

You could try a tinted moisturizer that has SPF 30 in it...that way you're combining SPF, moisturizer, and foundation and don't have to travel with a lot of stuff!
