About once a year now, I get really bored with my hair and want to do a major change. Last summer, I chopped it all off in a boy cut (the shortest my hair has ever been since I was born!).
This year, I'm really itching to do something wild!
I was thinking of dying it blue, or chopping it into something crazy, getting a perm or maybe even dredding it (that's more of a suggestion from my friend haha).
The only problem is, I'm going into Student Teaching this year and whatever I choose has to be school appropriate.
My hair is about shoulder length right now, dark brown with pale highlights around my face. It's super straight and generally healthy.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a new hairstyle that I could wear as a new teacher?

I have long big curly hair and know what you mean by wanting something new. Right now my "new" is my hair color. I've changed my dark brown hair to a vibrant dark red and love it. But I'm still itching to chop it all off (every few years I go very short and donate my hair to Locks of Love) but am unsure of what I want to do now. If my hair were straight (is yours?) I'd do a super cute pixie cut...I think that's cute and edgy at the same time without being "crazy". Whatever you decide to do you should share a photo with us. I'd love to see what you end up with.

you cant go wrong with a vibrant red, when im getting bored of my hair (which is usually every year as well) i always contemplate red, i think its just a sexy colour on women and you cant go wrong, although there is alot of keep up with it i think its usually a winner
