China Glaze's Ruby Pumps has to be the most GORGEOUS red sparkle nailpolish I have ever owned. It's a nice true red, without any of the more gold or orangey undertones from the sparkles in the polish.
Revlon's Matte Suede in Fire Truck is also a really nice red, it's a bit darker than Ruby Pumps and has a more subtle glitter in it, but it's still gorgeous.
for a darker red/wine colour, Sally Hanson's Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in 06 Love Hangover is a nice one.
however my ultimate creme finish red nail polish HAS to be Red Hot from the Quo by Orly collection (it's like Ruby Pumps, only minus all the glitter!). I received it in a gift of 18 other small sizes of their complete collection and it is amazing! The other 3 reds in the collection are also really pretty. Garnet has gold/red microglitter in it, Wine & Dine is a darker version of Red Hot but with red microglitter, and Old Hollywood is a gorgeous dark vermillion (which is hard to find!) with a subtle shimmer.
with that said (choices! choices! choices!) my top two picks have to be Ruby Pumps and Red Hot. It's always best to have a good, fun glittery red and a sophisticated, creme finish red in my opinion!

I have about 180 nail polishes.... none of which are red, I can not even explain how that happened but I guess it's because I'm waiting for the *perfect red*. Help me out ladies, whats your favorite red nail polish?

I think Opi's big apple red is the best , it's really bright and it lasts more then a week ( if you have a top coat )

I just picked up a replacement for my favorite red polish because it was old and getting a little dried out. I got Wet n Wild Megalast in I Red a Good Book. It's the perfect classic red. :)

I got a super hot red from abroad when I went last year it's called Medora red and it's really good :)

I really like Essie's Size Matter's. It's a really pretty pinkish red and it's opaque in two coats. I have a post on it and some pictures on my blog if anyone wants to check it out :)
