Totally agree with the other comments. Although, I think that it's really good that Beautylish are willing to listen to people who don't have over 10,000 or whatever followers. Seeing the well known people is encouraging and does make you want to do more to your blog/website/youtube channel, but sometimes it does feel like they get all the praise for the amount of effort they put in. People with less follows put just the same amount of effort in, sometimes more just to get out there! But they don't get the praise they deserve because they have not be recognized or anything yet. I think it would be really good if Beautylish done something to help people with blogs and channels take off! :-)

We made some changes today and removed the "People" tab which contained Suggested Users.
Our goal is to come up with more effective ways to help you find others to follow based on the quality of content and information they share or their expertise. As many of you pointed out the Suggested User list wasn't very helpful and I know we can do better. More to come!

Maybe the people on Beautylish could vote, cause i feel sometimes the actual Beautylish staff are Biased no offence of course, like if you dont have like a million blog followers or million subs on youtube you wont even get looked at other wise by beautylish
if you dont have a personal photographer to take your pictures or if your honest with people i feel like these will never get you noticed
Ive been on Beautylish for a year now and in that time ive had over 400 beautylish-ers follow me people always say ive give great advice love my style and im a nice but honest person. Not once have i ever been told good job or thanks or been featured or even "suggested" the beauty world is all about numbers if you dont have a million subs and if you dont have a massive following no one cares about your advice or reviews
ive been here for almost everyday since 2010 offering help and advice to people who needed it, welcoming people trying to do the best i can do but nothing

Yay for improvements! I love this site but there is always room for improvement with any and everything in life. I love the idea of switching that up! Most of those people we already knew... Maybe the list could somehow be randomized and show a new beauty every week or so. Whether they have 5 or 5,000 followers... Sometimes it's just nice to see a new face! :-)

Yeah i totally agree i do feel beautylish can be a bit of a clique with the same super people being featured all the time and the people who take amazing pictures ive been here nearly a year and a half and have not once been recognised at all

Maybe you could have a Top10/Top20 'Beautylish users of the week based more on their input on the site rather than how many followers etc.
Personally, I love finding reviews on here that someone has put effort into more than (no offence to anyone on here) the people who spam everyone with their blog/youtube/profile links haha.

I completely agree with all of these comments. I personally feel new and old beauty gurus are being overlooked, because of the well known names out there. They put out great videos, but so does everyone else that I have seen who make beauty videos. It would be nice to be feautred based on the quality of your work, not numbers.

Exactly, i feel beautylish always chooses the people who rake in the numbers rather than good content
i feel beautylish has kinda gone down hill and has become another one of these boring normal makeup sites
i loved Beautylish but now its the same questions asked all the time and people dont even bother to search for the answer
