I bought the naked palette 2 on amazon because i had a 50 dollar gift card for it and it said it was by sephora but i hear amazon has mainly fake makeup
one of the color pans is coming lose after just a few months, that might be my fault but im not sure. also i compared the Half Baked from the original and I feel like the texture is different but its hard to tell.
have you heard or seen anything about the fake naked 2. ive heard of the fake naked 1. im scared that i just wasted my money :(
Can you post a photo of it?
Its not fake, I believe amazon is pretty reliable especially since it says it is sold by sephora. Amazon just simply sells it for Sephora it just comes from amazon. They do that for a lot of products. :)
okay. i hope so. im going to go to sephora and make sure (: thank you!
i want that palette so bad........... ur lucky :D

so i went to sephora and i think its real not fake and my sister agrees! i still am wary thinking its fake cause i bought it online
I've said it before and I'll say it again - the NAKED2 quality is not up to the quality that NAKED is. balmaholicTV has done swatches of Half Baked from NAKED and NAKED2 and NAKED2's HB was worse than the original. The shadows in NAKED2 are hit-and-miss depending on the actual palette.
Whether it's fake or not fake, just don't buy stuff from Amazon again, haha. Just purchase it from the real thing so you don't get paranoid again next time.
yeah i agree, the half baked do feel different. and i had a 50 dollar amazon gift card for my birthday so i figured i would use it for this and all i had to buy was shipping. but next time im buying something else cause it is paranoying!
I don't have the Naked2 Palette so I can't really tell a difference between those but my sister's friend purchased a Naked Palette on Amazon and it was a total fake. I felt so bad for her. The alignment was way off, it came with a random eyeshadow that did not have any urban decay branding on it whatsoever, and a few of the eyeshadow names were misspelled. She contacted the seller but since then none of that seller has any items for sale. Just be super careful. =)
Yeah, that looks real to me. I've never had any troubles at all buying from Amazon :) I normally buy my tarte products from them unless I have Sephora giftcards!
You have to be careful on Amazon and buy either directly through Amazon or via the company's online Amazon store. NEVER buy makeup from a Marketplace member since it's a crap shoot if it's legit or not.
It looks real to me, but to second what some other said, when you buy on Amazon, make sure it's fulfilled either from Amazon.com or from a reputable seller like Sephora - though I think Amazon may do their fulfillment now.
Hey that looks totally real. A good way to tell fake products on amazon but not always mean an item is deff fake is if: 1) the item picture is blurry, too dark, grainy, etc. 2) there is only one picture 3) there are no product reviews (expecially on makeup because you know women love to rave about good products) 4) there is no description or the description is misspelled, etc. 5) The order is not fullfilled by amazon or the person who is fullfilling the order has a really low sales rating
Also people who try to fake products, take a fake juicy couture purse for example, do not like to show identifying factors in their picture. Like the little mirror will not be shown, the inside of the purse won't be shown, etc.
A great way to tell if something is fake if you are not sure is to go onto the web site of the manufacturer (in this case sephora or urban decay) and look at pictures of the item, compare how it looks to your item. Often make up fakes will not look exactly the same. There will be small often hard to see changes (colors out of order, wrong font/ font color on product, packaging will be wrong, etc)
I do not want anyone to buy fake products!! good luck guys

Hmm... it looks real to me. If you're going to buy cosmetics from Amazon only buy from the real retailers though. Sephora is indeed on Amazon.

I have to agree with everyone that the palettes looks real and i am the proud owner of the naked 1 and 2. Naked palettes pans are sometimes a little loose and not position tightly or correctly. I purchased both of my palette from Sephora and my pans look some what funny.
thank you all so much! i went to sephora and it seemed legit (: and the seller on amazon said it was sephora but im never doing this again cause its scary. im still a little paranoid hahaha but thank you all so much for your help!
and shannyn im so sorry about that :( that sucks!

The Halfbaked in Naked VS NAKED2 is def. different in texture... however, just because you purchased it on Amazon doesn't mean that the seller sold you an authentic palette. There are PLENTY of fakes on Amazon, so I'd make sure I purchase from a reputable seller with good ratings and feedback. It's rare to find good deals on name brand makeup, and I find buying direct at the source is more expensive, but at least I won't lose sleep over wondering whether or not my purchase is fake or not. =)
Your palette does look quite authentic though. Just make sure you do your homework when purchasing from a 3rd party site! =D

What did the EBay seller have the package listed as? New? Used? The real NAKED2 is packaged with a lip gloss. If he posted it as new then it would have come with the lip gloss. You can request a refund and even dispute it with EBay if it's a fake.
