Hey! Sooo I have these acne scars on my face and I really want to get rid of them because I want to get my skin to a point where I don't really need foundation. If you all have ANY suggestions on how to get rid of acne scars, please let me know! Also, if you have any other face/skin treatments that work please let me know as well! Thanks!

I've mentioned this a few times here already but look into Photodynamic Therapy. It's the only thing that got rid of my marks from acne.

I use bio oil and vitamin e oil which both helped a lot. When I was a kid I split my entire cheek open and got stitches, my mom used turmeric root on it and the scar when away completely. If you saw me now you would never have known that I got stitches on my face. I'm assuming it would also work well for acne scars. You can get turmeric root at any international/asian supermarket.

Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator works wonders. I used it for two months and it pretty much took care of some stubborn scars that I had. They claim that you will see a difference in 2 weeks. I saw it within a month. Another one that is good as well is Boscia Antioxidant Recovery Treatment C. Boscia is perfect for long term use as well because it also protects your skin from future damage (sun spots, fine lines and wrinkles) plus it has licorice which has a lightening effect ( great at getting rid of the acne scars). With both I highly suggest a moisturizing sunscreen or else you will just be throwing good money away if you don't. Sun darkens existening scars.

your best bet to geting rid of acne scars is to see a dermatologist. You can try some creams,but they may or may not work compleatly. Some times it's just best to shell pout those bucks and get proper results

As if acne wasn't bad, I personally believe the scars it leaves behind could possibly be just as bad-- if not worse. I hear exfoliation is key when it comes to scarring, because you're sloughing off dead skin cells, and allowing new cells to turn over. You can also look for products that contain Glycolic acid, which is like a chemical exfoliant. Treatment wise, microdermabrasion or chemical peels work wonders, but could be costly. I would definitely recommend checking with a dermatologist for the best solution for you. I too suffer from scarring, and it sucks, but best of luck to you :)
