I really like Too Faced Matte Eye Shadow Collection. It has a nice range of neutrals and it's great for every day use. It depends on what kind of shades you're looking for though.

If you don't mind making your own, I would recommend Makeup Forever for a neutral palette. MUFE is cheaper if you can purchase the pans. I would recommend INGLOT or Sugarpill if you're looking for color. MUFE has a better range of neutral matte shades than INGLOT does and the quality is more consistent than Mac's mattes. Neutral isn't in Sugarpill's vocabulary. MUFE also sells huge magenetic palettes for $10.

I love MUFE mattes as well but they are 19 bucks each so it isn't exactly affordable

.. I'm not sure where else, probably a beauty supply! I assume MUFE has the standard circular pans?

@ Beatrice K. You have to call the NY store and order over the phone. I've place 3-4 orders with them over the phone with no problems. Shipping is reasonable. The pan eye shadows are (when I bought them) $13.

@ Santina A. I wasn't referring to empty pans. MUFE sells their shadows without the plastic. They also have empty magnetic palettes that are much bigger and cheaper than a Z palette, but it doesn't come with a clear lid.

Avon and Lancome sell really great matte eye shadows. Elf, Coastal Scents and BH Cosmetics all have some matte palettes that are pretty decent quality and are great prices.

ok does anyone know a matte palette that are neutrals? I want to get the naked one but not sure yet because its so shimmery

TheBalm has an eyeshadow palette called Meet Matt(e), and I know that Too Faced has come out with a palette with only matte shadows.

I'm going to say go for Inglot if possible. They have a nice range of colors and the quality is really good.
If you want matte colors then Urban Decay's Naked palette isn't for you.It has only 2 matte colors and the rest are different types of shiny/shimmery.

Ok I went to inglots site and I know this is a weird request but does anyone know enough about their brand to help me find matte dupes or pretty close to what shimmers in the naked palette.

OK so It turned out there are only 5 of my Inglot colors that can be compared to the naked palette. The color hustle (Shimmery) is a different finish than the Amc 53 (Matte with sparkles) but they are the same shade. Hopefully this was helpful to you sweetie
