There arent too many products out there for thickening hair and the ones ive tried didnt do anything....any natural remedies any of you can think of? Ive gotten it strong, i just want it thicker and voluminous :)
I actually have fine hair but a lot of it and i am always looking for ways to thicken it well i just switched to a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner its the one from sallys beauty called Coloresse its in a purple bottle and its for volume and i have notice a huge difference my hair feels thicker!!!
No joke! I just tried the new Nioxin product called Diamax(?) It is a spray that you use before drying but it really works! I use it all day long at the salon for great blo-outs!
I'm always on the lookout for thickening hair products as I also have very fine, limp hair and I recently saw this beauty editor's post loaded with products to try out http://beautyeditor.ca/2011/05/24/g...
The Phyto pro intense volume mousse sound's intriguing!
massage your scalp for circulation! chemicals/heat tools daily will dry and fry your hair! the wind is also a culprit.
Dont stress too much. Look into OILS
I've been taking MSM (sulfur) and Silica (Horsetail) and B-complex vitamins and a full amino acid supplement. Try it for 6 to 8 weeks see if you notice a difference. I have. Finally! We lose sulfur, and silica and we need amino acids....they make Keratin which makes protein, which is what your hair is. We lose that as we age. I've done a lot of googling on the subject, by no means not an expert! Just an experimenter. :-)...I also have a couple of great nutrition books, one is Eating for Beauty. Awesome stuff. Cheers!
For the past three months, I've been massaging my scalp every two days using some type of oil and just my fingertips. I usually massage my scalp for like 20 minutes or so, and I've noticed that my hair does look and feel thicker than it used too. I have wavy/curly hair that gets really dry, so the oil helps me to deal with my hair easily and it also moisterizes my scalp. But depending upon your hair texture, you may want to just use your fingertips or use a product that has biotin in it. Biotin is perfect if you want to have a healthy scalp and long hair. I reccomend Nexxus Vita Tress Biotin Scalp Creme, I really enjoy using it. You may also want to use some products that help volumize and thicken the hair as well. <3
To fix thin hair be sure to eat a healthy nutritious diet you need lots of fruits and vegetables and get enough healthy omega 3 fats such as olive oil, avocado or coconut.
You need lots of fresh green vegetables and fruits to get the hair vitamins you need to grow thick hair
If you want to immediately get rid of thin hair then use hair extensions. The best quality and least damaging are called Flexi-Strand. You can use this hair extension as you grow thicker hair
You can also try braiding your hair to hide your thin hair
Wavy hair will always look like it has more volume then straight. Another option is to tease the roots of your hair to give it volume on top.
