I have some old nail polish that i don't want to throw away. If anyone has any tips, I'd love that.

Get some nail polish thinner! they have some at head2toebeauty.com. :)

I've heard of using nail polish remover as a thinner before, just like the tiiiiiniest amount and mix it up in the bottle. I haven't tried it though, so it would be worth doing some research and a test batch.

don't use polish remover it will destroy the polish, use a thinner or better yet, a few drops of isopropyl alcohol, super cheap and works all the same... like $3 for a huge bottle!

If it's super old and dried to the bottle, not just clumpy, throw it away. If you have nail polish that is just clumpy, use thinner or nail polish remover. You don't need to use much AT ALL. At first the remover will make it really thin, but over time (like a couple weeks) it will thicken back up to normal consistancy. Thinner is better though.

@Christine: I've never had that problem before! Nail polish remover always works great for me! And isopropyl alcohol MUTILATES my polish!!! It's terrible! So I don't know... I think I'll stick with the remover. >.<

lol complete opposite.. remover has worked right away.. but after a week or so the color of the polish goes all crazy and as if it separates.. weird

Remover will break down your nail polish, so even though it works in a pinch you really don't want to do that. Thinner is really cheap at sally beauty supply and will last you forever. It works so well, I don't know how I ever lived without it!
