When youtubers dont respect the fact that we all have different makeup styles! if you want to do a dramatic eye with nude lips, dont sit there and tell others that doing it any other way is wrong. What if someone wants red lips? Or telling people how to wear ther makeup and to follow their technique only.

I like to read and see pictures, as opposed to watch videos.
So for blogs do:
-Have a friendly tone.
-Reply to comments.
-Stay somewhat on topic.
-Provide good tips/ideas/pictures.

Don't:
-Have many grammatical or spelling mistakes.
-Act like you're waaayyyy better than all of us reading.
-Only review things you know we can't get our hands on (things that are discontinued, ridiculously expensive, etc).
-Use your blog as a complaint forum about your life.

We are all in this together, so let's act like it! :)

I hate it when someone is doing a tutorial for a video and there is not talking. Just music. I don't even like voiceovers that much, but some form of talking! It's not that I can't figure out what you're doing, but it's annoying. And I hate it when a channel is all vlogs, hauls, and tags. Have some real content! And be consistent with both.

A definite deal breaker for me is bad grammar. And I don't mean accidental mistakes. I mean people who don't even bother to differentiate they're, there and their, than and then etc. If a person pays no attention to their writing, I automatically think their makeup skills will be sloppy as well.

Other than that, someone has already mentioned those words such as 'amazing', 'gorgeous', 'beautiful' etc. The fact that a blogger or Youtuber finds something stunning means absolutely nothing to me. Opinions on products should be argumented and logical, not based on prettines, but on performance/description of color etc.
And I honestly appreciate good picture quality. However, it's not a must. Not everyone can afford a high resolution camera. If that is the case, detailed descriptions will do fine.

i like professional looking blogs with nice photos (doesn't have to be the highest quality ever but blurry photos are never fun to look at lol) and i guess i like a mix between writing & bullets. & a sense of humor! oh & i like bloggers who reply to comments & questions. :)

deal breaker: If a video is done and makeup is not done well, especially Brows & loud music playing over the blogger's voice.

LOVE: great camera, lighting, straight to the point,an explanation why a product is a favorite vs. not so fav, cheap vs.expensive, color matching different brands, bullet points, hi res swatches, short & sweet =), products & Shade used in video is a must.

This might be weird but I hate when gurus make OOTD videos and record themselves prancing around and flipping their hair. It's so so cheesy and fake and it makes me hit the X asap.

Something that really puts me off blogs is when they only use stock photos, I know I probably sound really harsh but I honestly don't see thte point in having a blog if you don't have a camera! Another annoyance of mine is when someone is raving about a product, say foundation, saying it is the best ever blah blah, But they don't have any photos of them wearing it to back it up! I don't mind if the writing style id slightly rambling (guilty myself) or bullet points, but I dislike poorly formatted and layed out posts.

Same as Stephanie T, hahaha. Also when a blogger or Youtube describes something as "OHMYGAWD isn't it soooo pretty/gorgeous/amazing?" and leaves it at that when reviewing a product. You really should talk about the quality of the product - colour payoff, longevity and such. Even a "it's sooooo pigmented" is better than nothing lol
