I am on the market for a new brush cleaner and I need some good recommendations! =]

I like the sephora daily brush cleaner and for deep cleans I use the ELF brush cleaner its about 3 dollars from target or the internet

ehhh I've used the sephora one, I'm not crazy about it. Never tried to elf one though!

MAC for spot cleaning, baby shampoo for deep cleaning.

i like the elf one too, i also use my beauty blender cleanser for my brushes and that works good, it also smells really good.

I agree with Shelly, I use shampoo for cleaning because its amazing and MAC Brush Cleaner for Spot Cleaning

The ELF one is alright.
I currently use the MAC one which I like more.

I use the Sonia Kashuk cleaner for deep cleaning but won't repurchase because it smells so damn awful, haha. Shampoo is best and cheapest.

MAC for spot cleaning, and Dr. bronner's soap in tea tree for shampooing...

The good thing about bronner's soap is that it'll last you ages if you dilute it in a foaming cleanser bottle 1/4 soap to 3/4 distilled water. I've had my bottle for a year almost, and I've barely made a dent in it! That, and using a foaming cleanser bottle helps foam it up to lift pigments and foundation out of your brushes so easily! I posted a vid on how it works w/ Koren's brush cleaning solution a while back, but I much prefer the bronner's soap better.

Here's the video:

hey there beauties! :) I have Sephora everyday makeup brush cleaner, and it works tramendous. its $6. :) hope it helped!

I use baby shampoo for deep cleaning! Works just great for me!

Detergent from Daiso. It cost 2 bucks but efficient all the same!

love that idea soma, I just might try that. I was looking more for a spot cleaner, seems like people like the mac one, I'll have to give that a try too

hey
To be honest i don't use any brush cleaner i just use what i use for my own hair e.g herbal essence because the hair on the brush is like the hair you have on your head!
also it works very well! :D

i usually use my facial cleanser since the brush is going on my face.

Here's Koren's video for home made brush cleaner.

Parian Spirit by far the best one I've found. You can get it Alcone or probably Naime's.

Beware of brush cleaner that is too soapy, they've ruined some of my favorite brushes.

I also use baby shampoo or I use virgin olive oil and a gentle dish soap. Both are cheap and they work amazing!

i use shampoo and conditioner lol works great for me ..

Spray cleaning: Parian Spirit of Make Up For Ever. Deep cleansing: MONDA Studio brush cleaner or Dawn dishwashing soap. I like MONDA because you simply dip brush bristles in and wipe clean and dries in less than 30 minutes. So perfect when you return from working on set all day and used almost all of your brushes. Such a time saver and leaves brushes smelling nice!

I'd definitely have to say that, unless you're a professional or your face gets filthy for some reason, don't spend money on brush cleaner. Like people have said, just about any soap will do the trick: dish detergent, hand soap, shampoo, even olive oil. I swirl my brushes around on my palm with a small amount of hand soap and water. This worked great when I was painting with oils, and it still works great for the built-up oils and makeup residue on my brushes.

I use dawn antibacterial dishwashing detergent, or baby shampoo.

I use baby shampoo - works WONDERS!

I use my face wipes during the week to clean off my brushes then on the weekend i use baby shampoo. Works great and is cheap

Cinema Secrets professional brush cleaner is the best! It is quick dry and comes in a variety of sizes. It’s not the cheapest but it works really well and lasts a long time! I would also suggest washing your brushes once a month with your shampoo and conditioner this keeps the brushes soft!

baby shampoo
