does anyone know of a good foundation for oily skin? i have tried different techniques and nothing really seems to help.

I have oily skin and right now I'm using MAC pro long wear. It's pretty good at staying put through out the day. I normally only have to use a blotting papers once a day, I used to have to do it a few times. To add staying power I buff a little Rimmel stay matte powder over the top. That stuff is amazing and only three bucks!

Revlon Color Stay is pretty amazing!

What's your daily morning routine like? While an oil free foundation and a nice matte pressed powder is great, be sure to moisturize. When your skin needs moisture, it tells your brain to produce more oil to compensate and lubricate the skin. Trust me, if you religiously use a hydrating moisturizer day and night you will see a huge improvement which will only assist your foundation routine even better.

I really like to use estée lauder clear difference advanced oil-control hydrator and I find that I am able to use a lot more foundations even though I have oily skin.

My favourite higher end medium coverage foundation though is chanel aqualumiere, drug store is probably Loreal True Match

-I have done reviews on all of these products so check those out too!

For my oily skin I've always used Bare Escentuals Matte mineral powder foundation. Liquid foundations, even if oil free can exacerbate my oily skin and I've always gone back to this. It's all natural and does wonders for your skin without clogging your pores. The coverage is sheer to medium though, so if you have a lot of blemishes and spots to hide its not for you. It's perfect if you just have oily/uneven skintone though.

I found Revlon Colorstay to reeeeally stay put all day, even in my T-zone with is oily. However it is hard to remove all of it without using toner.
