has anyone tried the maybelline bouncy blush? i want to try it and i might pick it up tomorrow... is it good? what texture is it?

it is the weirdest texture! I love it though. I have 2 colors peach satin and hot tamale and when you touch it, it moves it almost has a spongey feel, and I agree with Terra, it blends like a cream blush. I really like it. I used a regular powder brush to apply mine with and it went on fine.

the texture is sort of like a memory foam mattress. if you push your finger into it, it dents.. it's pretty weird but they're great blushes. so pigmented!

I have 05 Fresh Pink and I really like it! These make great bases for powder blush or they look amazing on their own. If you like really pigmented blushes, these may not be for you because they are quite sheer.

I might ge it because I like cream blushes and my nyx one feels Cakey on my skin.

@isabella i find the nyx ones really hard to bend and it cakes on me too. not sure why that is!

My cousin gave me one. I have not tried it yet. I am on a major no buy right now so I cant buy any makeup. I LOVED their cream blushes. Does anyone know if they were discontinued? I hope not

I bought one about a week ago. It's okay, I think I need to try some other colors though. I bought rose petal and it barely shows up even though I'm super pale. Haha, I do like the consistency though, very neat.

I have two and I love them! They are quite sheer though, and find that to make them last I have to set them with another blush or powder. Still worth it though!

They look like the biggest freaking gimmicks on the planet, but I want one just for that reason. XD

@samantha I have two blushes so I have to use it but the nyx blushes are all mostly bright so that's downside too along with the cakiness and I'm pretty tan!
@venessa where I live they aren't discontinued yet but they are on sale for clearance to make room for the bouncy blushes. so I'd stock up now! I find them shimmery so I don't like them but I like th texture.

@terra its the texture of the blush.. its not necessarily bouncy; its more like memory foam mattress feeling lol its odd

I just bought one today. It's really interesting feeling. I agree with Samantha G that its not so much bouncy as foamy, or squishy. I kinda just want to play with it. They don't seem super pigmented to be honest. I got Coral Candy and its super bright in the pan, but kinda dull on the skin. also, this is definitely a product to put on with your fingers, I'm not sure how a brush would even pick this up.

I have two of them but the pigmentation just isn't that great. They're good bases for powder blushes though. And they're fun to play with.:)

@Terra M. is the Hot Tamale the darkest shade in the collection? I saw these in Target a few weeks ago but I was in a rush so I didn't pick it up. I have to watch Maybelline blush because often times it doesn't show up on my skintone.

@Isabella H. on your comment about NYX only having mainly bright cream blushes I totally agree. But they actually have 13 different shades amazingly. I dont know if its like this at every store who carrys them but they only carry like 5 shades and they are all bright which is a bummer. At www.cherryculture.com though they have all 13 shades and there are darker ones and there also a dollar cheaper too. And have you ever tried applying them with a stippling brush? I find that works best for me personally cuz it still applys enough to get a good color but it doesnt apply too much to where it gives a cakiness effect.

@angela s. i only have one stippling brush and its the eco tools stippling brush and i'm pretty sure its only for powder... I'm saving up for a good stippling brush. Do you recommend one?

I am hearing from some fellow makeup junkies that its a no-go but I have to buy it for myself, at least one to see how it is. I am anxious to pick up on this week but from the color selection that I am seeing only a few colors would work for my complexion

I picked one up last night after class....haven't played with it yet but will be doing so in just a bit. We shall see.....

Ok, I wore Hot Tamale yesterday. I used my fingers to blend it in and it gave me a nice little glow but after three hours of wear I faintly saw it on my face. I was even wearing a primer. I'm not ready to call it a miss just yet...but I definitely liked the pop of color it brought to my face. The testing continues.lol

@Isabella I've only tried 2 kinds of stippling brushes, 1 from elf's studio line which is the one I personally use to apply mine and I have a Sigma 1 that I use for my foundation.

I love it. I like that, on days when i'm not in the mood for much makeup, I can put this on without having to use much "caution", and yet it is completely buildable for a more dramatic look.

I have 2 of them. I like the texture and finish of them but the pigmentation isn't that great. I really have to build them up to be able to see them and they aren't very long lasting on my oily skin. I think they would be great if your skin is normal to dry, and if your looking for a blush that gives you more of a tint of color.

Final opinion....they apply great on my skin when I'm void of any other make-up on my face such as primer/foundation and powder. When applied on bare skin application was noticeable on my skin and it didn't involve much product. Since I enjoy wearing a smooth canvas that foundation and powder provide these are a miss for me because they lack pigmentation when all three are used together. This is definitely a miss for me since I love having a smooth canvas that foundation and powder provides. What a bummer. :(

I played with one yesterday &... eeehhhhhh. It was ok - Cute concept, but the product itself is a fail.
