I've been subscribed in May (first box in July). I've earned over 1000 Birchbox points (equals $100) so in my book it is indeed worth it.

I've had my subscription for about 6 months and I'm going to unsubscribe next month. I have had a few really good products, but the amount of not so great stuff doesn't make it worth it. And their shipping service sucks. It takes forever to get your boxes. I've just generally lost interest.

I've been with Birchbox for two months now and I will receive my third box in January. So far--I am on the fence. I have tried some cool products which I love but they also put stuff in there that I found underwhelming.
Romee has a great suggestion. Myglam is great. I just subscribed to them and can't wait to get my first bag next month. They're products are awesome and they include a lot of full size or deluxe sized samples.

MyGlam is currently not offering any subscriptions. PLUS the site is still having problems with their SSL certificate so entering your CC # (when the subscriptions are open) is a risk a person has to consider.
